I really wanted this mug design in thermal. I found plenty of "you died" mugs that didn't change, but this is the only one I found that has the fade effect. It's nice quality. The thermal does start to change if you hold the mug in your hand for a while, so keep that in mind if it's supposed to be a surprise. I do wish there wasn't such a large white area in the design, I would prefer the whole thing to be black. Overall, good quality with some basic design flaws that I personally can see past.
